Chairman called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m. at the WaterLife Discovery Center, 2100 Lakeshore Drive, Sagle Idaho.
The special meeting had been called to discuss and review the 3 options for expansions as presented in previous meetings. A revision of Option 3 was presented by Paul Klatt and Doug Bopp based on the purchase of 27.8 acres and the raising of the lagoon dyke by 3’.This would add approx 300 ERU’s.
The board reviewed the revised Option 3 and decided to purchase 15 acres as a need for buffer zone rather than 27.8 acres. The Board also agreed to obtain a legal brief on how best to prevent encroachment by houses and wells into the buffer zone, a survey of the lagoon site to determine the actual capacity of the lagoon, a new electric line to the center pivot and the payment of certain legal fees relating to the various financing options that have occurred over the years.
A motion was made and seconded to accept the revised Option 3 as modified above at a cost of $850,000.00. Motion passed
Jim read Resolution 10-01 authorizing Judicial Confirmation to finance the cost of the above motion. A copy is attached.
A motion to adjourn was moved and seconded. Motion carried.
