Jim Haynes reviewed the past 6 years relating to the District’s moratorium.
Jim Haynes presented the current 3 options available to the District.
1.
Proceed with Judicial Confirmation in order to add 40 -60 ERU’s by fully utilizing the existing wastewater application site at a cost of approximately $1,200.000 or $17.00 per month per user.
2.
Work with Bonner County and Sagle Valley Water & Sewer to form an Urban Renewal District in an effort to fund a jointly owned expanded system. Due to the number of authorizations by various political jurisdictions this could take as long as five (5) years with no guarantee.
3.
Assuming a positive outcome of the study to determine the level of prosperous in the Pend Oreille River, pursue an MBR treatment system. This could costs as much as $2.8 million or $40.00 per month per user, and several years to accomplish
